Debbie has extensive experience working in communications and public relations. She coordinates logistics and registration for seminars, consultations and group trainings.
With the growing number of children with autism, there is an increasing need for resources to raise awareness among peers, help integrate our students and foster acceptance and understanding of students with various learning needs.
As a sister of a man with autism and mild cerebral palsy in Ontario, Debbie understands the importance of acceptance and integration and the challenges families face. With early intervention and community support, she has seen her brother grow into a man who is loved and valued by his community. She is writing books to help others overcome some of the challenges her family has faced.
