As the mother of four children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Chantal has extensive personal and professional experience dealing with individuals with ASD.  Chantal is trained in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), has attended various seminars and trainings on the topic of educating students with ASD, and currently teaches in a special education classroom.

Chantal is also a sessional instructor at the University of Windsor, teaching a psychology class in adolescence.
